Have you always lived in Central Florida? Where do you consider home?

I’ve been in Central Florida since 1999, so for the majority of my life, this has been home. Before I moved here, I grew up in Hawaii while my dad was stationed there. So the islands are my second home and I try to get back there as much as I can.

Are you a homeowner? When did you buy your first and/or current home?

Do you have any hobbies? What do you do when you’re not working?

I love going to my gym, Clermont Crossfit, 4-5 times a week. I’m one of those crazy people that get up at 5am to go to the gym. When I’m not working or at the gym, I love to cook and spend time with family & friends and snuggle my puppy Pepper.

What’s something you’ve learned and/or surprised you about real estate after becoming an agent?

I didn’t know anything about real estate when I got into the business. The thing that surprised me the most was that real estate is simple, but not easy. It’s simple in a sense that anyone can get their real estate license and get involved with a contract, but the actual practice of real estate isn’t easy. There are a lot of details wrapped up into one real estate transaction.

Where does your inspiration come from when it comes to selling real estate?

My inspiration comes from my own journey to homeownership. I had no idea how much was actually involved in a sale. I had a great team around me that made the process less stressful. Having experienced that myself, I want others to have the same kind of experience when buying or selling their home. Homeownership is a wonderful thing that I am very thankful for.

How has your personal life blended into your life as an agent in a positive way?

I’ve been in Clermont for a long time and since working in real estate I’ve been able to serve several friends and even my own parents with their real estate needs. It’s been a really positive experience for me to be able to see my friends & family become homeowners or sell one of their properties.

What are your favorite things about living in Clermont/Central Florida?

Besides the weather, I love being in close proximity to the beaches and theme parks. For some our location may seem far out, but for me we’re only about an hour away from whatever I want to do. Plus, when you live in Central Florida people love to come visit you.

Is there anything else you’d like people to know to get to know you a little better?

I truly love what I do and who I do it with. The phrase “it takes a village” definitely applies to my life. I’m blessed to be surrounded by truly wonderful people who support my career and ignore my forever messy desk.
