May – a month of new beginnings!

May is a month of events we all remember – award ceremonies, banquets, plays, concerts, and of course, graduations. These events are celebratory, but they also mark the ending of one season and the beginning of a new one.

As REALTORS® we’re often aware of the details of a person’s circumstance – and no matter which way you slice it, transitions are hard.

However, successfully buying or selling a home is a way our clients can gain closure to a transitional period in their life.

Some closings are met with tears as they grieve the memories of loved ones associated with their home; others are met with celebration as they check off a life goal on the list.

Whatever the circumstances we’re happy to play a role in them all.

April Clermont Market Update

Last month, the number of homes listed for sale was down almost 30% over last April. As of May 2^nd, there are 139 single-family homes for sale in 34711 and 183 homes under contract. Homes are generally taking a few weeks to sell and negotiations are becoming more frequent. While the median sold price has decreased year-over-year, home values are still high.
