What’s happening with our real estate market right now?

This month we want to again focus on our real estate market because – what the heck is happening right now?? Sellers are in shock at the pace of our market and buyers are in distress over the scarcity in our market.

Here’s the current situation: As of Tuesday, May 4th, there were only 60 single family homes for sale in 34711 at an average price of $536,326. Only 39 of those homes are priced at or under $500,000.

That means that out of the 15,000+ households we have in Clermont, only 1 out of every 385 homes are for sale for less than half a million dollars. In other words: it’s a great market to be a seller and a tough market to be a buyer – both because of how few homes there are for sale.

April Closing Celebrations

Congratulations to our clients who bought and/or sold a home last month!

Happy 30th Wedding Anniversary to Matt & Gina!

Last week Matt and his wife, Gina, celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary!

They met in college and got married in the college chapel at 21, became parents at 23, and lived in 5 different cities together before they were 30.

They moved to Clermont in 2001 and plan to be here forever – hopefully making it to their 80th wedding anniversary at 101 years old!
