Summer Milestones

This summer marks a few milestones for us and we’re thankful to be celebrating them.

In June 2015, Olivia joined our team working 10 hours a week while going to college full-time and working another part-time job. Last month marked 7 years of her being with us, and today she is our full-time marketing specialist. Everything you receive from us – newsletter, postcard, email, video – comes from her desk. We’re thankful for her.

Next month, we’ll celebrate 5 years of Lydia being our transaction coordinator. She keeps us and our clients heading in the right direction and keeps lenders, title companies, agents, buyers and sellers informed. We often hear at the closing table how much people love working with Lydia, and we couldn’t agree more! She’s been a great addition to our team.

2nd Quarter 2022 Clermont Market Update

In the second quarter of 2022, the number of homes listed for sale was up 7% over the second quarter of 2021, though the number of homes actually sold was down over 16%. Median sales prices are still up nearly 35% year-over-year.

Mortgage interest rates are up 2% over last year (a 63% change) and we’ve begun to see the market respond to that change. Homes are taking slightly longer to sell and we’ve started seeing sellers decrease their prices. New construction communities have begun to release more inventory and we’ve seen some builders go back to offer closing cost incentives to buyers.
