And if you need us, we’ll be ready to go through the ups and downs with you.  Real estate is a very personal business.…

Goodbye Spring. Hello Summer!

May brought several welcome events for us in our office. Our whole team returned to working in the office rather than the limited usage implemented in April. Matt and his wife, Gina, celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary on May 4th by staying home and cooking. We celebrated Mother’s Day and were reminded of how thankful we are to have been so well-loved and cared for by our mothers. (And we mean it - moms are awesome!)  When restaurants opened up, we took the opportunity to have a team dinner at Bosphorus in Winter Garden. We ate outside on the patio and enjoyed sitting…

How to Stage Your Kitchen for Photography

April – What a Year!

Since last month’s newsletter, so much has changed. Who would have guessed things would look the way that they do? Like most small businesses, we are being affected by CV-19. We’ve seen lending guidelines change and employment changes that have put families’ moving plans on hold. We’ve also changed the way we’ve worked and shown houses.  And more specifically, we had an 80% decrease in closings in April for our team compared to April of last year. While we don’t know how this COVID-19 season/market will end or how it will continue to affect our real estate market, there are some important things…

You’re Essential to Us

The month of March has affected us all -- teachers are teaching from home, restaurants are take out only, church services are online, and theme parks are closed. It won’t be like this forever, one day we will tell the story of what it was like to live and work during the spring of 2020. Here at our office, we employ a full-time staff of 5 people, soon to be 6 in the next couple of weeks. Like other businesses and industries, we are experiencing changes to what can and can’t be done. That being said, we still have clients that are depending…

What Does Home Mean to You?

Home. They say it's where the heart is. In our business, we see the concept of "home" interpreted as many things. For some, finding a home is a once-in-a-lifetime project and they'll stay in that home forever. For others, home is only for a season. For everyone, home is a place to be proud of. Helping a client find their home is a charge we take seriously. When a client reaches out to us and trusts us to represent and guide them, we consider it a calling. The home-searching-finding-negotiating-inspecting-appraising-closing process can be full of emotion for a client. Hear us when we say…

Focusing On What Matters

Once in a while, life brings us experiences that give us clarity about what is truly important. The death of a loved one, the birth of a child, a wedding, a stay in the hospital - all of these have been wake up calls and reminders to us of what truly matters. These moments of personal clarity affect, and better, our business because they help us remember why we are in business.  While we love working in real estate and being a growing business, it has never been our goal to be the biggest real estate business in our market. We want our…
